Act of State — రాజ్య చర్య
An act of state, in tort law's technical sense, is an act done by a sovereign government in its dealings with another state or with the subjects of another state — being a matter of high policy between nations, it is treated as non-justiciable in the ordinary municipal courts altogether.

An act of annexation of foreign territory, or an act carried out in the course of war or diplomatic relations against a person owing no allegiance to the acting government, is treated as an act of state — a domestic court will not entertain a tort claim arising from it, regardless of the harm caused.

Don't confuse an act of state with the ordinary sovereign/non-sovereign functions test used to decide a citizen's tort claim against their own government (as in Kasturi Lal or Vidyawati). An act of state concerns dealings with another state or its subjects, and is wholly non-justiciable — it has nothing to do with whether a domestic citizen can sue their own State.
