Ratify — ధృవీకరించడం (Ratify)

To approve an act afterwards and so accept it as one's own.

Real-life example

In Mohori Bibee v. Dharmodas Ghose, the defendant alleged that the plaintiff had later ratified the mortgage. That plea wholly failed and was not the subject of appeal.
