Surety — పూచీదారు (Surety)
As used in this case, a person who stands bail for an accused and must show enough money to pay the bail amount if the accused fails to appear. The Court said courts mechanically insisted on sureties, and the poor found it almost impossible to find solvent persons to stand as sureties.
