Conservator of the Peace — కన్సర్వేటర్ ఆఫ్ ది పీస్ (శాంతి పరిరక్షకుడు)

As used in this case, an old peace-keeping office. The Court said it is not the same as a justice of the peace, and that a conservator was almost forgotten and never sued as such. The judgment does not give a formal definition.
