Void Ab Initio — వాయిడ్ అబ్ ఇనీషియో

"Void ab initio" is Latin for "void from the beginning" — it describes an agreement that was never legally binding at any point, not even for a moment. This is different from a contract that starts out valid and only becomes void later, or one that's merely voidable at someone's option. Once something is void ab initio, there's nothing to rescind and nothing to enforce, because in law it never existed as a contract at all.
