Knowledge of an agent that is treated as the knowledge of the person the agent acts for.

In Mohori Bibee v. Dharmodas Ghose, the Courts below held that Kedar Nath had full authority and stood in the place of the lender for this mortgage. His acts and knowledge, including that the borrower was under age, were those of his principal.
