Contingent Contract — కంటింజెంట్ కాంట్రాక్టు

A contingent contract is a contract to do or not do something if an uncertain event, collateral to the contract, happens or does not happen — its performance depends entirely on that outside event, not on the promisor's own will.

కంటింజెంట్ కాంట్రాక్టు అంటే, కాంట్రాక్టుకు అనుబంధమైన అనిశ్చిత సంఘటన జరిగితే లేదా జరగకపోతే, ఏదైనా చేయడానికి లేదా చేయకపోవడానికి కుదిరిన కాంట్రాక్టు — దాని అమలు పూర్తిగా ఆ బయటి సంఘటనపై ఆధారపడుతుంది, ప్రామిసర్ సొంత ఇష్టంపై కాదు.
