Agreement to Sell — అగ్రిమెంట్ టు సెల్ (అమ్మకపు ఒప్పందం)
Under Section 1 of the English Sale of Goods Act, 1893, described in this judgment, where the transfer of property in the goods is to take place at a future time or subject to a condition still to be fulfilled, the contract is an agreement to sell. It becomes a sale when the time elapses or the conditions are fulfilled.

The Court noted that a mere executory agreement is not a sale within Entry 48. Where title has not passed, there is an agreement to sell and not a completed sale.
