Sapinda Relationship — సపిండ సంబంధం

"Sapinda relationship" describes a degree of common ancestry that Hindu law treats as too close for marriage. Under Section 3(f) of the Hindu Marriage Act, it extends through the mother's line up to the third generation and the father's line up to the fifth generation, counting the person themselves as the first generation.

"సపిండ సంబంధం" హిందూ చట్టం వివాహానికి చాలా దగ్గరిదిగా పరిగణించే ఉమ్మడి పూర్వీకతను వర్ణిస్తుంది. హిందూ వివాహ చట్టంలోని సెక్షన్ 3(f) కింద, ఇది తల్లి వైపు మూడవ తరం వరకు, తండ్రి వైపు ఐదవ తరం వరకు, ఆ వ్యక్తినే మొదటి తరంగా లెక్కించి, విస్తరిస్తుంది.
