Intervenor — ఇంటర్వీనర్

A person or body, other than the original parties, who joins a pending case.

Real-life example

In T.N. Godavarman Thirumulpad v. Union of India, as the case grew, many intervenors, industries and states joined the writ petition, and the Court heard them.
