Ex Gratia — ఎక్స్ గ్రేషియా

"Ex gratia" describes something done purely as a favour or gift, with no expectation of payment — the opposite of a "non-gratuitous" act. Section 70 gives no remedy at all for an act genuinely intended ex gratia.

"ఎక్స్ గ్రేషియా" అంటే చెల్లింపు ఆశ లేకుండా, కేవలం ఉపకారంగా లేదా బహుమతిగా చేసిన దాన్ని వర్ణిస్తుంది — "నాన్-గ్రాట్యుటస్" చర్యకు వ్యతిరేకం. నిజంగా ఎక్స్ గ్రేషియాగా ఉద్దేశించిన చర్యకు సెక్షన్ 70 ఎలాంటి రెమెడీ ఇవ్వదు.
